IT Time With Tricerat

Brewing Up the Latest IT News and Trends

It’s no secret that our goal is to make life simpler for you our hero, the sysadmin. We have spent years working to produce and refine a family of products that simplify the IT tasks you know and love (or hate!). We are always looking for creative ways to enrich our users’ experience, so we decided to create a podcast, just for you.

Why IT Time?

IT Time was created with the sysadmin in mind. As we spent more and more time alongside our IT heroes in the trenches, we learned that there was a serious lack of podcasts for those who work in the industry. We wanted to create a resource that is entertaining, interesting and insightful. Our main goal is to shine a light onto topics that aren’t discussed much on the web and offer solutions (not necessarily ours) to make the lives of IT admins easier.

What’s Coming Up?

Our listeners can look forward to hearing about the not-so-common issues of making IT work in complex environments: transition to VDI, mobility of users, security, and the specific industries that are really affected by these changes. During each recording we’re bringing in experts to share their knowledge and experience.

Have a few minutes? Plug in your headphones and listen to our first episode: VDI- No Longer a Unicorn featuring Calvin Hsu, Citrix’s VP of Product Marketing.

The Enterprise Print Decision
Print has quietly become one of your biggest liabilities — 53 Print Spooler CVEs since PrintNightmare, 56% of organizations hit by print-related data loss last year, and roughly 23% of IT tickets. This white paper lays out the only three credible paths forward: do nothing and let the risk compound, go serverless and inherit your vendor's security posture, or adopt a Hybrid Print Architecture that fortifies what matters and unifies the rest. Only one holds up on security, resilience, and ROI — and pays for itself inside Year 1.
