Co-founder, President, and CEO

John holds an MBA from the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University Maryland, and prior to Tricerat, spent 10 years with Mercantile Bank Shares Corporation. At Mercantile, he directed the transformation of the bank’s infrastructure to Citrix Metaframe. It was there that he realized the apparent gaps within the print solution area in virtual environments.

Based on that knowledge, John set about to found a small, privately owned company that can accommodate its clients with realistic and creative solutions, and Tricerat was born. In contrast to the ‘built-to-flip’ philosophy that drives many software companies, John has been guided by a ‘built-to-last’ platform, making Tricerat an unusual and special place.

John’s love for a well-crafted product is not limited to the advancement of the software industry alone – he’s an avid lover of European cars and any cutting-edge technology. As anyone who knows John can attest to, he is simply addicted to well-designed products. Through Tricerat and other endeavors, he has spent over 20 years cultivating his obsession with software and new technology.
