Feeling the #CitrixPartnerLove at Citrix Summit
Last week, our team headed to Anaheim, CA to attend one of our favorite conferences of the year, Citrix Summit. The yearly conference is devoted to business development for partners—our team never misses the chance to meet with others to strategize and learn about new technologies.
This year’s conference gave our team; some new attendees and some veterans, the chance to participate in the extensive session offerings. Our regional sales manager mentioned, “There seemed to be a session or offering for just about every use case or scenario imaginable, the ones I attended were very informative.” The keynote presentation, given by Citrix CEO Kirill Tatarinov kicked things off in the right direction. Our team noted a similar ‘feel’ to last year’s conference where a new tone was set by a new executive team. This year was spent celebrating successes and exciting new opportunities. He opened the conference by announcing a new partnership with Red Bull Racing; the Citrix team will be instrumental in keeping the team’s engineers ahead of the curve.
Throughout the conference, our team detected a strong focus on security amongst the keynotes and other talks; we’re excited to see where that takes the brand in 2017. Also present were familiar focuses on mobility, virtualization and healthcare, some of the cornerstones of our work with Citrix. Our territory sales manager said it best, “Where Citrix is relevant, Tricerat is relevant.”
Any major takeaways?
Partner events like Citrix Summit give our sales and technical leads the chance to meet with our partners face-to-face. Despite the ease and speed of technology, our team vowed to make in-person interactions a priority in 2017. Our products and technologies exist to make Citrix better and more efficient, so we are always looking for creative ways to help our Citrix reps. We are already looking forward to spending more time with the Citrix community this year!
