Printing issues shouldn’t get in the way of your work.

Nonprofits cover a wide range of interests that include anything from international affairs, to combating world hunger and everything in between. What is the one thing they all have in common? A distinct and unique devotion to a mission. Something else they have in common? A need to manage printing capabilities for teams in the office and on the move. A mission to help others and society and printing issues don’t mix. That’s why we created print management tools that simplify the process and put organizations in control. There’s no need to waste valuable time trying to manage printing– let us worry about that.

Empower your team with the right tools.

Tricerat has empowered non-profit organizations for more than twenty years by allowing them to focus on their mission, rather than wasting resources trying to combat complex print management issues. The organizations we work with typically have mixed hybrid environments that include a combination of Citrix, VMware and Microsoft. Resources may be limited and IT infrastructure may be low on the list of priorities. Like other organizations, nonprofits also face policy headaches, failed print jobs, bad user experiences, lost time, and lost resources. The difference? These headaches keep these organizations from helping those in need.

Choosing the right tools makes the difference. Tricerat created a suite of simple to use tools that save time and resources. Our print management solutions allow you to:

  • Keep your staff in the field. Use proximity printing for printing on-the-go.
  • Better manage resources. Manage all your printers from a single console.
  • Keep the features that work for you. Retain access to ALL advanced print features of the printer.
  • Maintain a problem-free environment. Increase server performance through reduced print spooler crashes.
  • Save time. Eliminate print driver management on ALL clients and terminal servers.

Take a look at a recent case study featuring the Center for Urban Community Services. CUCS utilizes Citrix XenApp in their IT environment. Prior to XenApp 7, CUCS used the Citrix Universal Print Driver (UPD) for assigning printers using Desktop Authority. The IT Systems Manager for all systems and networks says printing in XenApp 7 was reliable, but time consuming: “Printers were assigned correctly via policy, however there were hundreds of policies and they were next to impossible to maintain.” When changes needed to be made, IT staff had to shift through hundreds of rules and policies to find where to make necessary changes. Despite having reliable policies, when they hit the print button, more often than not, nothing came out.

Enter, Tricerat.

Simplify Printing turned out to be a blue-sky scenario solution for CUCS. The software took care of their immediate problems and gave the IT department true enterprise print management capabilities. With Simplify Printing, CUCS is able to complete changes in a fraction of the previous time and the lowest tier support now handles all print management tasks. All Citrix UPD problems were eliminated from their environment, with all makes and models of printers are fully operational. Because of Tricerat’s ability to eliminate print drivers, server space is optimized and print driver management is a breeze.

We are proud to support the printing infrastructure of this and many other nonprofit organizations. To learn more about our products and how we can help get you back to your mission, visit our website and contact our team.
