Meet Lamont. He is a senior technical support analyst on our support team here at Tricerat. Lamont works hard each day to make sure our product works correctly and to make sure customers are as in love with our product as the day they signed on. Lamont joined the Tricerat team after studying computer information systems at Strayer University. He is a Baltimore native and veteran who is known for his creative problem solving tactics, friendly customer service and great collaboration skills with the sales and development teams. Learn more about Lamont below!

Three objects on my desk...

I have a set of 50 lbs. dumbbells on my desk that I use throughout the day-- working muscles helps to increase blood flow to the brain, and it acts as a stress reliever for me. My Ravens logo plaque, because I love Baltimore Birdland, and my lucky bouncy ball which helps keep me centered and focused while my clients and I work to resolve issues together.

The first device I reach for in the morning…

My cell phone! I am guilty of being addicted to communication.

After arriving at Tricerat in the morning, my first stop is…

The break room to put away my lunch and grab a spoon for some Greek yogurt and to fill my Ravens cup with water.

How long have you worked for Tricerat? Describe your greatest client success while at Tricerat.

I will have been with Tricerat for two years this coming February. My largest client success was when I assisted with a customer issue which then turned into a great relationship and ended up resulting in a larger sponsored event at a conference for Tricerat.

I leave work each day knowing I have helped my team and clients…

Fix an issue that was causing some level of pain and loss in production in their normal work flow. I love being a problem solver.

Tell us about a recent IT headache that you helped alleviate...

I was assisting a client remotely to help fix an issue, the client happened to be elderly and not very 'tech savvy.' I had to find creative ways to assist and solve the problem at hand. The experience really helped teach me patience and that there isn't always one way to approach a problem.

Which Tricerat product is your favorite and why?

Simplify Printing. Prior to working for Tricerat I was a customer-- Simplify Printing was the product we used to manage our printing environment. It always worked and saved me a ton of headaches. Managing and assigning printers via the console is a lot easier than have to touch each computer, and or create login script via user logon policy. It's just a much better way to manage the printing process.

If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would you invite?

Jesus, Kevin Hart, John Maxwell.

Any last words?

I am Lord over my mind, thoughts and behavior. No one can control that but me.
