IGEL's DISRUPT 2022 on Tour stopped in Washington D.C. on June 16 and featured multiple breakouts and discussions centered around end user computing (EUC). DISRUPT 2022 on Tour will be making more stops in the US and across Europe throughout 2022. Check out our event recap to see what you can expect at future events.

The Focus of DISRUPT on Tour

DISRUPT 2022 on Tour is centered around how new and existing solutions can help improve management, security, and employee experiences when delivering end-user computing solutions. Each day-long event has a schedule of speaking sessions for attendees to learn how to modernize their workplaces with new and existing EUC solutions. One of the most popular topics discussed was improving device security and emerging technologies available to aid in protecting sensitive information. Industry leaders such as LG Electronics, Microsoft, Nerdio, and VMware presented at Washington D.C. DISRUPT alongside Tricerat.

Tricerat and IGEL Partnership

As a member of IGEL's IGEL Ready Program for over 2 years, it was a pleasure getting to present at DISRUPT on Tour this year. Tricerat and IGEL have been working together to make our solutions operate seamlessly for our valued users. Being a part of IGEL Ready allows Tricerat to be more in tune with what IGEL users require to make their daily operations run more smoothly. We have been able to enhance IGEL clients through native driver support, mobile printing, drag and drop dashboard controls, and more. Given the opportunity to present at DISRUPT this year, we wanted to show how IGEL users can maximize their printing and scanning processes.

Tricerat Printing and Scanning with IGEL

Tricerat's CTO, Andrew Parlette, shared how to increase productivity and save money by creating more efficient printing and scanning workflows, specifically using IGEL OS. Here are some of the main points Andrew covered during his presentation at the event:

  • How to increase system administrator efficiencies and remove IT roadblocks by using ScrewDrivers® to manage all printing and scanning from a single dashboard
  • How to improve print server performance
  • How to enable your end-users to reliably print and scan any document from any device to any location
  • Ways to maintain and improve the experience for your end-users while reducing wasted time managing printers and scanners across your organization
