Today at Microsoft Ignite, an annual conference for IT professionals, Citrix made an exciting announcement. As part of their digital workspace strategy, Citrix will now be offering desktops-as-a-service. This DaaS offering is developed on Windows Virtual Desktops and hosted in Microsoft Azure, allowing users to “delivery virtual applications and desktops hosted in the cloud to any device, from anywhere, with simplified IT management”.

Citrix Service Providers can also step in to help businesses with more custom needs for a comprehensive desktop delivery package.
