Earlier this year Tricerat began working with Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter (BARCS). Tricerat staff has volunteered to walk dogs and do data entry for BARCS but there is an upcoming event that anyone can participate in! Local businesses and BARCS are pairing up for a day of Litter Boxes, Pints & Pizzas.
The folks over at Union Craft Brewing unfortunately received a bunch of misprinted beer case boxes that won’t be suitable for sale. Union decided to team up with BARCS and host a fundraising event to put the boxes to better use. These misprinted boxes are perfect to use for disposable litter boxes used by the cats at BARCS.
Anyone that is interested in helping is welcome to attend the event taking place on December 8. The event will kick off at Union Craft Brewing starting at 12:00 PM. Volunteers that wish to help build litter boxes should arrive closer to 4:00 PM as that is when the litter box building will begin. For more details, check out the Facebook event here.
In addition to the boxes donated by Union, Well Crafted Kitchen will be doing a $1 giveback per pizza ordered during the hours of the event (12:00 PM -10:00 PM). Ordering ahead from Well Crafted Kitchen is recommended and you can even make advanced orders on their website. Union Brewing Company will also donate $1 to BARCS for every pint sold throughout the day.
Tricerat staff will attend the event throughout the day and assist with folding litter boxes. Our offices will also hold all the built litter boxes until BARCS is ready to take them.
