• Win2003 users need SP2 installed, for XP 32-bit they need SP2 with a hot fix from Microsoft (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914882 ) and for XP 64-bit they SP3.
  
• Windows Search should be disabled. Sometimes windows search will touch all of the files in the user's profile in the background and thereby will make it take longer than expected to open smaller files because it is in a queue behind a larger file being downloaded.
