ScrewDrivers Client

The ScrewDrivers client is required for users to create ScrewDrivers printers on the terminal server. It must be installed on each client computers for users who will be using the ScrewDrivers printing solution. It is not installed with the Simplify Suite.  You must carefully consider your environment and determine the best method to deploy the client to your users.

Configuration

The client is packaged with a control panel applet that allows for detailed configuration of what printers are made available to the Terminal Server.  It is not necessary to provide your users with this applet, but it can be extremely helpful to a power user that connects to multiple environments.  It is also possible to deploy registry settings to your clients which mimic settings available in the applet (and you can therefore automate the configuration for some users).

You can get to the ScrewDrivers client control panel by going to Control PanelàScrewDrivers Client v4. Through the control panel, there are multiple tabs of options that are explained below:
