 Simplify Stability

Simplify Stability boosts application and server performance -- increasing user satisfaction and the number of quality sessions that can be effectively supported by your Terminal Servers, even those running 16-bit applications.

The Simplify Stability technology consists of a system-level service which ties into the Windows process scheduling algorithms.  It measures the resources being consumed by an application and takes actions to guarantee that other applications can still function.  Users benefit through the removal of delays in keyboard and mouse updates during high server load.  They also benefit because a server will not become unavailable due to a single application overloading the entire system's resources.

By default, the Simplify Stability service starts managing your server as soon as your install the Simplify Suite.  However, there are instances where the default parameters are not optimal.  If you determine this to be the case, you can define a System Stability object in the Simplify Console and assign it to a single server or to your domain.  You can also override the behavior of specific applications by changing the Stability configuration settings available in each Application object.  This is useful if you have an application which requires more CPU than the others on your system, or if you have a specific user which requires more performance.
