When performing upgrades to the Simplify Suite, the schema of the database will be updated to support features added or changed in the Simplify Suite. Since multiple servers may be attached to the same database, it is best to upgrade all servers to the same version at the same time. triCerat makes every effort for the database schemas to be backwards compatible, but servers on older versions will not take advantage of the latest changes.
