Scanect 1.3.00 Known Issues



Issue: If the Scanect tray application is not used to select a profile, the default profile may not be applied correctly to the scanner properties. If you have a single profile, the profile will not be applied correctly.
Workaround: Define at least 2 profiles on the server and have the User click the tray application to display the popup menu with profile and scanner choices. Choose/Click the profile you wish to use even if it is indicated as the active profile. This will properly set the active profile and it will be properly applied to the scanner properties. Resolution: This will be fixed in the next version of Scanect.
Issue: Some two-pass duplex scanners will only scan the front side of the page.
Resolution: This will be fixed in the next version of Scanect.
Isuse: Unable to Scan with Adobe Acrobat.
Resolution: Select a custom scan using the “Scanect DS” scanner with the option of “Show Scanner’s Native Interface”. Please refer to the Scanect FAQ for more details.
