How it Works
Scanect uses a universal "virtual" driver on the Citrix server or ICA/RDS connection that queries local scanners for their capabilities (i.e Automatic Document Feeder availability, resolution, supported paper sizes etc.) and forwards them to be virtualized on the server or virtual desktop. This increases application compatibility by creating a single point of compatibility with the triCerat virtual scanner driver. (See diagram 1 and 2.)
