John ByrneJohn Byrne – John is the founder and President/CEO of triCerat, Inc. He has spent the greater part of 20 years cultivating his obsession with software and new technology. He admits that he's simply "addicted to well-designed products."

Prior to triCerat, John spent ten years with the Mercantile Bank Shares Corporation, directing the transformation of the banks’ infrastructure to Citrix Metaframe. Realizing the apparent gaps within the print solution arena, John pounced on the opportunity to corner the niche market.
Enter - triCerat.

Based on the idea that small, privately owned companies can accommodate their clients with realistic and creative solutions, John was set on accomplishing this goal. In contrast to the 'built-to-flip' philosophy that drives many software companies, John has been guided by a 'built-to-last' platform, making triCerat an unusual and special place.

John’s love for the well-crafted product is not limited to the advancement of the software industry alone – he’s an avid lover of European cars and any cutting edge technology. He holds a Masters Degree of Business Administration from the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola College of Maryland.

Steve Walman

Steve Walman – With Steve, triCerat’s VP of Marketing and North American Sales, ‘customer satisfaction’ is a phrase that often comes to mind. “My main focus is to be aware of the market, make sure we’re meeting the needs of the customer, and get the word out: we’re here to make the management of user environments simple.”

Steve’s relaxed approach to management reveals a lot about his beliefs relative to the workplace. He encourages people to be themselves and to incorporate their personality into what they do, believing that the idiosyncrasies within an employee contribute an important component to what makes his or her work valuable.

His admiration of a thoroughly lived life, a job well done, and the love he has for his two children shines through in everything he does. Goal set, goal achieved. That’s Steve.

Andrew Parlette

Andrew Parlette – Andrew is triCerat’s Director of Product Development. He’s worked at triCerat since prior to graduating from the University of Maryland, having majored in Computer Science. While he worked, Andrew also played in the marching band and maintains he did so in order to “get on the field during football games”, which is where he ended up meeting his wife.

Andrew acts as an overseer of the technical division and all of its products. He works to further realize triCerat’s mission by taking his tech-guy-at-heart mentality, combining it with his love of frontline technology, and instilling it all to help produce superior software.

Eric Musgrave

Eric Musgrave – Eric is our resident gunslinger, much like a Wyatt Earp of the software world. On his off time, he acts as the VP of New Product Development and is a prime example of how tightly knit triCerat is – he and Andrew Parlette have been friends for 20 or so years.

Eric has been working with triCerat for over six years, where he has pioneered the evolution of ScrewDrivers’ technology and played a key role in the design of Simplify Suite. He channeled his love for technology by way of a degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.

But don’t be fooled by Eric’s technical swagger. Just because he grew up playing PC video games doesn’t mean that he confines himself to small spaces and joysticks. Eric is an avid hunter, skydiver, car fanatic, and loves anything that can get him in the water.

Toby Carson

Toby Carson – Toby is triCerat’s Channel Manager. He has been with the company for six years, beginning as an inside sales representative. However, Toby’s oratory talents were swiftly identified and he was sent out on the road, becoming triCerat’s most successful sales genius.

Toby’s knowledge of triCerat and his complete belief in the philosophy of the company is striking. Sit with him for a few minutes and you’ll find the answers to all your questions.

Toby is successful not only in the office, but has played division I lacrosse at UMBC and is a mountain biker and snowboarder.

Greg Stafford

Greg Stafford – Greg is the Director of North American Sales. With ten years of experience in the technical world, Greg knows his business. He majored in Business Management with a focus in Marketing at Towson University.

Aside from holding the whip in the sales department, he’s also our resident poker pro, having played in the World Series of Poker in 2007 and is planning to continue until he gets his bear-like grin on ESPN HD. With his no-nonsense style of approach, Greg is adamant about working hard and playing just as hard. We couldn’t agree with this philosophy more.

Omar KechridOmar Kechrid-Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, no wonder Omar Kechrid is our International Sales Director. Formerly a sales consultant in office solutions, Omar joined triCerat in search of international business involvement and product export experience, and that's exactly what he's getting. Since January 2005, he's tripled triCerat's international sales revenue and put in place a solid team to assist all of our international clients with superior service.

Omar has an eclectic array of interests, ranging from playing soccer (having played Division 1 soccer at UMBC) and globetrotting to hanging out and watching movies. He has a B.S in Information Systems from UMBC and a M.B.A with a focus on International Business for Loyola College.
