The kingpin of desktop and application delivery, Citrix Systems, announced that XenApp 6 will be available for downloading beginning March 24, 2010. Anyone familiar with SBC knows that Citrix, but what's new in XenApp 6?
XenApp 6 offers new enchancements including easier central management, enhance enterprise scalability, and seamless integration with new Microsoft technologies like App-V and Windows Server 2008 R2. XA6 also includes major updates to VDI with the release of Citrix XenDesktop 4.
Here we are again, a brand new OS from Microsoft. This usually means a plethora of compatibility issues with third party software, among other things such as very exhaustive reviews. I have seen very few reviewers go into such detail about an OS as this guy did. It is a very helpful review that covers Win7 front to back. I've been using Windows 7 and so far i have really enjoyed it, and it has been very stable so far, all the new features that will make the computer experience easier for users.

Trying to keep up with virtualization technology can be mind boggling. While I am a sales engineer, when in the office I am charged with setting up multiple test environments in which to run our products. I have setup XEN Server, XEN Desktop, VMWare VDI and then View, XEN App, App-V, and more. Soon I will be given one of our old production ESX boxes to add to the test environment. Since I started at triCerat I have watched Presentation Server become XEN App, VMWare VDI become VMWare Vi
