I have often wondered how well information was shared within the IT world. BriForum is a unique event - where vendors, resellers and administrators alike can gather and discuss anything from software to common issues that plague the industry. This was the 8th annual BriForum, but my excitement comes as this is my first year attending.

With over 400 registrants from around the world, I have heard it was the largest BriForum to date. There were over 50 technical breakout sessions, which allowed attendees to share and express what software they use and the pros/cons involved. This was an excellent platform for vendors since we all share the same space at the event. This format allows admins to actively investigate possible solutions and best practices.

One of my most memorable moments came as Brian Madden approached the triCerat booth to speak with our team. He was very down to earth and offered his opinion on a wide range of subjects. I found myself learning from both the event and the moderator. By the end of BriForum, several professional relationships were developed. As a vendor, it is important to meet the needs of end users and administrators alike. Events and forums like this one allow for such a thing to happen. I look forward to see how next year's BriForum can top this one!
