Remote Desktop Printing Solution

There are times in all user's lives where you find that locally, you need to print to one printer and remotely, you need to print to another.

Say you are at home, and you want to print out a picture of that cute puppy you adopted not too long ago.  You have two printers, a black laserjet and a color bubblejet.  You want that picture to be in the best full-blown color option available and so you print from your local computer mostly for pictures of that adorable puppy.  You would want your default printer to be the color bubblejet locally, right?

Now the problem comes in when you are remoting into your workstation or work server to start doing some work.  Color ink is the most expensive out there.  You want to print a document at home which does not require color ink.  You want your default remote printer to be that black laserjet.

In ScrewDrivers, you have the option to "Spoof a Default Printer."  This will allow the user to change their default printing for JUST remote connections.  When you first open ScrewDrivers client, you will see under the general tab a checkbox for "Spoofing the Default Printer."  Check that box. Select the printer you wish to use remotely. Click "Apply." Now you will have that printer as your default for your remote connection.

No need to mix work and home, right?
