After you have purchased triCerat products, you need to activate the license. This document will walk you through the activation process. Please print this page for reference while you complete the activation form. 

Step 1Download and install the product if you have not already done so.
Step 2Have your Serial Number and Machine ID (Modifier) ready.

The Serial Number is emailed to the primary contact upon receipt of order. The Machine ID can be obtained from the product’s licensing dialog box.



To display the licensing dialog for ScrewDrivers:
  1. Make sure server-side software is installed on the server and the client-side software is installed on the client workstation.
  2. Log into the server from the client using terminal services as an administrator.
  3. The license dialog will appear at login. If the triCerat License Entry dialog does not display then access the Windows Control Panel, open ScrewDrivers, and navigate to the triCerat License Entry tab.
To display the licensing dialog for other products:
  1. Log in as an administrator.
  2. The license dialog will appear at login. If the triCerat License Entry dialog does not display then open the Simplify Console, and navigate to Tools > License Manager. In the License Manager find the server and refer to the Machine ID column.
There are two types of licensing dialogs. Most products use the following dialog, and the Machine ID can be found on it:



Step 3Go to the triCerat Online Activation page.
Step 4Fill out the form completely and submit it. Incomplete forms will not be processed.
Step 5Print or save the report for record-keeping purposes.
Step 6Enter the activation code in the licensing dialog box to complete the product activation.
