Machine ID(8 characters) is an alphanumeric ID unique to the hardware/software on your machine. It can be found in the license management utility of the Simplify Suite Console or in the license entry key of the following products:

Simplify Suite v4- new!
Screwdrivers v3- new!
Simplify Printing v3 (includes PMP)
Simplify Data Transfer
Simplify Resources

Modifier No. is an alphanumeric ID beginning with a $ sign(plus 8 characters) unique to the hardware/software on your machine. It can be found in the license entry key of the following products:

Screwdrivers v1
Screwdrivers v2 (fXp)
Desktop 2001
Regset
Simplify Printing v2
PMP
