In the Community

We believe that a life well lived includes working with and giving back to the community.  Tricerat and its employees support a diverse group of organizations whose missions lie close to our hearts. Whether it’s making dinner for the local women’s shelter, cleaning out a section of the Patapsco River, or running in one of the many 5k events, Tricerat likes to get dirty!

The Taylor Foundation Logo
The Taylor Foundation is a nonprofit corporation created to provide Taylor Technologies, along with its associates and friends, the opportunity to give back. The foundation assists local Baltimore ministries and hosts the annual Shoebox Shuffle event, a fun-filled 5K race and 1-mile family walk in northern Baltimore County. All entry fees and donations go toward filling shoeboxes with Christmas gifts for children in need around the world.

Following on its support of the Shoebox Shuffle in 2014, Tricerat is once again a proud sponsor in 2015.

Casey Cares Foundation

The Casey Cares Foundation is an inspiring non-profit organization that “provides ongoing, uplifting programs with a special touch to critically ill children and their families.” Tricerat has been dedicated to this wonderful cause and has sponsored the Casey Cares Annual 5k Run/Walk since its inception three years ago.

On October 7, 2012, rain did not stop almost 500 runners and walkers from showing their support, including Baltimore Orioles outfielder Nick Markakis. The event raised over $40,000 this year, a new record amount for the Casey Cares Foundation. The proceeds will go to Casey Cares families.

Kaboom It starts with a playground

Tricerat is excited to support KaBOOM!, an amazing national non-profit dedicated to saving play for America's children. Their mission is to "create great playspaces through the participation and leadership of communities. Ultimately, we envision a place to play within walking distance of every child in America."

In July we sponsored the Women's Longest Drive in the Annual Golf Classic for The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. By supporting this great organization, we're helping to raise funds "that support the mission of transforming lives by supporting, educating, and connecting young adults and their loved ones who are affected by cancer."

In August we made it possible for an elementary school in Greenbelt, MD to purchase a much needed computer lab table via DonorsChoose.org. The computer lab teacher responded with a heartfelt letter, including "Now we will be able to keep the monitors working and not falling off the table everyday I have the same students every year and they will be so excited for the new computer center!!!!"

Catherine's Fund for Cystic Fibrosis

In September we sponsored the First Annual Catherine's Fund for Cystic Fibrosis (CF4CF) Golf Tournament, which benefited the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This is a cause near and dear to a Tricerat member and we were happy to contribute.
